Homeopathic Remedies For Arthritis
Posted: 01-19-05 13:29pm

I have been diagnosed with rheaumatoid arthritis (i'm 43) and do not like to take chemical drugs. I am looking for herbal alternatives. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

Molly229,

i see that you posted this question several months ago and haven't received any replies. Hopefully you'll get this one via email.

My 76 yr. Old mother-in-law has rheumatoid arthritis in her hands that years of prescription meds (celebrex, etc) failed to relieve the pain.

We asked her to try a product called "ambrotose" (made by mannatech) that my wife was using for some other problems. She started using it in august, 2004 and within a few weeks of using a double dosage (1/2 teaspoon twice per day) her pain became virtually unnoticeable. Within 4 weeks she was pain free. She continued using the product for 3 months and then quit to see what would happen. It wasn't until this past month that her pain started coming back. She is now using it again.

My wife sells it to friends since she also uses it, but we don't sell retail. You can find it on the web via online stores. It looks expensive, but when you consider that a good quality glucosamine sulphate will cost $30+ per month the cost is about equal, depending on how bad your condition is.

Give it a try and let us know how you make out.

Good luck!

Must say I swear by glucosamine and chondroitin and get it here in the uk for a lot less than $30 - approximately £5/month on-line. I've tried different "qualtities" of glucosamine and not noticed any difference between them which is, I believe, also the finding in the various clinical trials.
As a new member i'm not sure about the rules regarding posting site addresses on the forum - so I won't :) - if any one wants them let me know and i'll e-mail direct.

Ever heard of the prosorba column? It's a treatment by which your plasma flows through a protein a column and removes the inflamation causing auto antibodies. Try it.

Appropriate Herbs And Selection Foods Will Reverse Arthritis
Posted: 01-17-06 00:27am

It is internal problem, and you need wild lingzhi scientific name ganoderma lucidum (not cultivated one can be easily available in stores & mlm). If it is wild it has high nutritional level to build up your body system and thus cleanse out toxic waste. Go to wed site and find out more.

I'm 58 a past chronic gout sufferer for over 20 years. I started wild lingzhi over 10years and gradually reversed to no attack. In fact I am a master to gout not in past 20-30yrs subject to numeral & painful attacks each year. No drugs, no pain and am healthy as ever, no side effects, no doctor to see. Besides, watch out your diet that is all I need to do.
Feel radiant always!

Homepathy, My Experience
Posted: 02-06-06 18:23pm

Hi just read your post, i've been on homepathy for the past 5 years for my ra, treated at my local hospital by a rheumatogist ( who treats the queen with homeopathy). I took gold , arava, and methetrexate before for 3 years and they nearly done me in. I dont think the homepathy has done me any harm and i'm pretty sceptical, I havnt taken any regular drugs during this time except paracetamol.
I have good and bad days like everyone else and would say the disease has progressed and i'm not cured by any means, but from a piece of mind point of view i've felt better than taking toxic drugs. I guess its a peronnel choice and at this point in time i'm reasonably happy if not that mobile.
Does it work? Well my clinic shut down 3 months ago and I stopped taking the tablets well 1 week ago had the worst flare up i've had in 5 years and had to call the doctor out. Was the homepathy working, made me think.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes

Choices Are Many, An Effective Solution Is Hard to Find!
Posted: 02-06-06 20:58pm

I read your share of experiences of treating ra. If the disease continues to progress in severity the pain and suffering will get worse although you accept the reality.

Choices are many and are within individual reach and find but the right solution is hard to come by. If there is no solution it is like a ring that has no end.

The solution is to find appropriate herbs that are effective for pain and reversing the condition gradually. The natural treatment is "friendly" no apparent side effects and can use alternatively instead of drugs.

Finding the appropriate herbs, using them for a period of time and benefiting from them is a reality. I have done it and trust you can find it too.

I've heard that drinking alkaline water can be pretty effective in treating arthritis. Also, glucosamine gets good reviews from a lot of people.
This site has some good info on alkaline water: www.Waterionizer.Org

good luck! Let us know what worked for you.

Ganoderma Lucidum
Posted: 02-07-06 22:43pm

Hi organicpaul, I take forest wild ones. It comes in sliced form. I steam or boil the sliced ones as drinks and soups. I also then grind them down to powdery form take as capsules. I steep sliced ones in rice wine, brandy or whisky(alcohol content at least 35%) for over a year and drink a little sometimes before going to bed.

Forest wild ones are scare only 10,000 dead tree trunks few will fourish whereas cultivated ones are plenty in stores or marketed by mlm.

It depends on the herb and your condition. Forest ones have different nutritional levels from cultivated ones that grow from drilled logs or compact sawdust under airconditioning and artificial lighting.

Good luck to you.

Ultrasound Apparantly Works
Posted: 02-08-06 13:40pm

I've seen ads for home ultrasound machines that cost about $250. The show I saw was a canadian shopping channel and there were lots of people calling in saying how great it worked for them. I think it's called sonic relief

Alternatives
Posted: 06-09-06 08:08am

One thing you can look into that could help is bodytalk. It’s an alternative health care system that is getting great results with arthritis and other health care problems. They have an online radio show http://www.Bodytal ksystem.Com/radio/index.Cfm on wednesday the 14th on june and it’s specifically orientated to arthritis. It’s free so it might be worth a listen

cheers

How I Got My Second Life
Posted: 07-29-06 07:52am

Hi, to all. I feel myself very sad and hard to say about my suffering from rheumatoid arthritis disease. I was also suffering from severe headache, numbness in hands, anemia, hypertension, due to these problems I had to go to number of doctors and take countless medications for six to seven years which made too hard and fed up with them. Due to intake of many medications I suffered with hypertension, black circles around my eyes, hair loss, anemia and many. I twice attempted to commit suicide, but I was saved. All these paved my way to the one more health-upset depression. I was given many injections to head and body due to intake of the medications I became like a dead person. The doctors who treated me always said that it was a strange case and they were trying to find the cure for it. When I visited the holistic health care and research center I was unable to speak to the doctor and say about my problems. By seeing the reports the doctor gave me some dietary supplements that were natural. I was afraid to quit my allopathic medications as I had a fear that when these allopathic medications could not cure me what these natural medications would work on me. But with the intake of the medications when I visited the doctor then I came to know that it was he who cured me. After the three weeks of my treatment with natural medications now I am fit as a normal person and do the works on my own like I can walk on my own, eat myself, do the things without support of others. I really now believe that the natural herbal medications work more than allopathic medications without any side effects. These medications have made me a different person and I feel myself great to be cured with these medications. I would suggest people to use these medications, as they do not have any harm and cures fast. My husband and I would really say thanks to Dr.K.Rao with the bottom of the heart for making me a normal person. I really think him next to god for curing me and giving me a life. You can find the information and get consulted with the doctor www.Drraomd.Com/ :)
