Bladder infections stink! I suffer with those myself....Alot! The only remedy I know of is drinking cranberry juice drinks and staying away from teas and colas. I am an avid coke drinker and the doctor always tells me that that is the one thing I should avoid.

Bladder Infections
I was wondering if their was a home remedy for a bladder infection. I think I have one but I am not sure. The only difference is how often I have to urinate. It doesn't hurt nor burn. I just have to go more often. Then again I find myself drinking a lot more right now.

I am plagued with it...Since I was little.
Drink plenty of water/juice..Cranberry apparently is good. But fluids in general. Pop and coffee and tea are apparently bad for it but, we all need it once in a while.
I notice if I don't get enough fluids, I get one. But just lasts that urination.

A few months ago, I had the worst! After I peed, at the end it would hurt like a knife stabbing me and blood would come out. Was horrible! I got antibiotics for it.

Bladder Infection
Ok. I think I might have a bladder infection, but I am not positive. I have had them before. But I go to the bathroom and it hurts to urinate and then when I wipe there's blood. I'm not on my period or anything. Could I possibly be pregnant? Please get back to me asap

Bladder Infection
I always had a urinary tract infection, I take an herb called acidopholous, its the active culture in yogurt and it is very healthy for woman to take, it helps to control all the bacterias and it helps with utis, instead of drinking cranberry juice every day, which can be harsh for your stomach, you can also try cranberry/blueberry pills, by azo the combination of both works better than the cranberry alone, you can by both at any pharmacies, walmart etc, if you have an herbal shop in your town they sell live acidopholous, basically its refrigerated, its a little more potent than the ones on the shelves. For woman who take antibiotics, should definately take the acidopholous, your more prone to utis when taking antibiotics, if you cant find the acidopholous, eat a yogurt a day, these really do help any one have any questions, pm me hope this works, good luck

Tips From the Bladder-master
I am an expert in bladder infections. I get them at least once or twice a year. I have found that the best ways to prevent them are:

drink a lot of water every day, as much as you can.

Drink cranberry juice by the gallons whenever you begin to feel the burn.

Eat a yogurt a day. (i just started doing this and I haven't had one since)

always get up and go to the bathroom to pee after sex. Even if you dont' have to.

Always pee after you take a bath. Even if you don't have to.

And if it gets to the point where there's blood in your urine, go to the doctor and get antibiotics. Once I waited so long that my kidneys started to ache. That was scarry. You don't want kidney problems later on.

I just think that some people are more susceptible to them than others. After reading the other posts here, I see i'm right.

Uti-s
Exclamation symptoms of uti-s can be produced by otehr infections too - chlamydia, yeast infection, ureaplasma - and their (antibiotic) treatment is different.
Be aware. Exclamation

i've also experienced uti-s. But it was another problem too.
After bladder and kidney infections (the last one was quite owfull Sad ) and lots of antibiotics for a while everything were allright. But suddenly the strange unwanted feeling of peeing started again. But without any other symptom - cluody, bloody, smelling urine. And I kept trying to treat an uti (fearing from another kidney infection). Then, for other reasons, I runned some immunity tests and I found out that it was a chlamydia infection. So be aware, try other tests too than it seems to don't go away for anything in the world and they are very frequent.

The rest of advices are very good. At least some of them if you keep you may avoid the problem. And I can give you another one:
- don't ware for long periods of time, for example travelling, very tight trousers. My last one came from this cause, and it was also very cold.
- change the tampons frequently.
