ok I am 25 y/o homemaker mother of one. I am 5'4'', 210lbs. I have bi-polar, severe depression, and slight ocd. I am not the most healthy person in the world but I have come to terms with this. My problem though is that my doc can't figure out what is going on now. In october I started on wellbutrin for the depression. Within days my legs were swelled up to three times there size and I had a shin rash. Now I have stopped the wellbutrin and have been off it since thanksgiving but the rash and swelling comes and goes and for that matter has started to spread. My husband says that the bumps look like smallpox bumps (but we know i'd be dead by now if that were the case lol). The syptoms erturn when my body is put thru physical strain (since this began I have put on 20 pounds because I can't do much physical). The rash has climbed from my shins to my thighs to my hips and behind and also after doing pushups with my kid the other day to my left arm. All tehy are are little red bumps, some have turned into what I believe is called carbukles. It is itchy and burns to the touch.....Guys...It hurts to wear jeans (thank god I live in new mexico). I can't work because I can't be on my feet that long, I can't walk my kid the 2 miles to school a day, and when I look in the mirror I just want to cry because I feel like a monster. My husband tells me that it doesn't bother him but I feel hideous and because of this our sex life has decreased. Can anyone help me out here? My doc has no clue what to tell me. He referred me to a dermatoligist but I can't get there because I have a truck that won't drive the 2 hour mountain trip (nor do I have any friends here that could take me). If anyone has any experience here or any ideas even they would be most appriciated. Lord knows I need all the help I can get lol.
