Has anyone tried the new birth control vaginal ring that the fda has just approved (in canda) called nuvaring?

I have been on nuvaring since january 9th. So far I like it, I haven't noticed any symptoms from it and it is basically worry free.

The only issue I have had with it so far is that my first period has seemed to go on and on for weeks. When i'm not on bc my periods are normally like 10-12 days (which is one reason I take bc to regulate my periods)... Its only very light brown spotting, so its not like i've had continual flow. So, i'm guessing that it is just due to my normal cycle getting into the nuvaring cycle.

I'm scheduled to take the ring out on jan 30th for my 4th week. Hopefully my cycle will be more normal! :)

Nuvaring
I've been using the nuvaring for about 5 months now. I haven't had any problem with it. I'm really happy with it. The only thing that I would say is that taking it out can be a little awkward and messy. But other than that, if you go on it just make sure that you keep track of when to put it in and take it out. :)
