Hi cheezy,

spotting is just that, spotting. You might find a spot of blood on your underwear and it may continue happening throughout the day on and off. So it sounds as though you may have just had a lighter period this time, nothing to worry about.

What Constitutes "spotting"?
I normally have a very heavy period that lasts 7 days - I mean I will go through about 3 or 4 super absorbency tampons and a pad a day. This last period I had lasted 4 days and was very mild. I used maybe 2 regular absorbency tampons and a thin pad ... I know that all women are different ... But in general would that be thought of as spotting? Or would spotting be just a couple of drops for a couple of days?
