Pre-eclampsia Posted: 01-17-05 16:41pm
Do you have too "have" to have high blood
pressure too have pre-eclampsia, or is it
just a sympton?
I have
- bad headache
- seeing fast moving flashing white spots
- pain under my ribs
- nose bleed
- and swelling in my hands face and
feet/lower legs.
Should I wait until morning, or should I
get checked out straight away.
Its 9:40pm here.

Call your doc now. You can't tell if you
have high blood pressure (meaning you
don't feel any diff when it's high).

It is time to get checked. If nothing
else, go to a pharmacy or grocery store
where they have the blood pressure meassur
machines. If your pressure is above
135-140 (first number) or 85-90 (2nd
number), call the hospital or your ob/gyn
right away.
High blood pressure is one of the signs of
pre-ecclampsia, but not the only one.
You should get a urine test to see if you
are leaking proteins through your kidneys
as well.
