I began useing seasonale 3 months ago and experienced heavy spotting for two weeks straight about two weeks prior to the time I was supposed to get my pill period. I did experience a very light period but only for about 3 days off and on. Has this happened to anyone else? Could the light bleeding be a sign of pregnanacy or is it just my body adjusting to the suppression of my period combined with the breakthough bleeding? Any feedback would be extreamly helpfull!

I was on seasonale forone full pack then went off it for the same reason, bleeding is normal for the first few months. What I wanted to tell you though was the issue I now have since ive gone off. I have been off for a few months now and have noticed that my breasts have been radically reshaped and show no sign of returning to normal. They did increase in size when I was on seasonale, I got big red stretch-marks from it, and now the stretchmarks persist my breasts are smaller then they used to be before I went on it and they are completely flattened and droopy. Its very upsetting, im not sure what to do about it, I guess nothing, so I really would reconsider taking this pill if youre on it or if your planning to take it.

Help!
I have been on the pill for about 3 years and recently my doctor told me I could take my pill like seasonal. I take 4 packs in a row and then I have a period. I have been doing this for almost 9 months. I had the normal breakthrough bleeding the first time but this time I have not had a period. It is about a week and a half late and I wanted to know for people who take seasonale if anyone else has just skipped a period once they have been on it for a while?? Please help!!

Well, i've been on seasonale for half a year, and I never experienced any breakthrough bleeding. I went 3 months each cycle without bleeding at all, and then I had a longer period during the placebo week. So breakthrough bleeding on seasonale is relatively common, but I wouldn't say "normal" because its not something that happens to everyone every time. What brand of pill are you on? It could just be the individual hormones in that pill, and how your body responds to it. You could switch to seasonale and experience something totally different. Every woman is different, maybe you should just consider trying a new brand.
