My problem is that after working with a new lcd monitor for 6 months I developed this alergy or whatever and can't stand fluorescent light.

If the lighting is a normal light bulb or halogen I have no problems.

My eyes got all sore and a bit red if I have to work under fluorescent lighting, I feel like have eyes full of sand or something. What sunglasses or are there special protection glasses ?

I have seen my eye doctor but he does not know about such protection glasses

Reactions to Fluorescents, solution?
I used to get headaches from the bright fluorescent lights above my desk. I actually did a bunch of research and ordered a diffuser for a couple of the lights. It worked out better than I thought because I don't get headaches any more. You can google them...I think it's called skypanels, or something like that. I don't know if that would help your eye problem, but it might!

Hope that helped!

Re: Fluorescent Light Alergy What Glasses to Use?
Hi, I used to get headaches while working for long hours on my computer with a very bright energy saving Compact Fluorescent light just above my desk in my home office. I consulted an ophthalmologist, and he suggested that switching to a less brighter Full spectrum daylight bulb with CRI closer to that of sunlight could solve my problem. I then did a bit of research in Google and bought a Daylight lamp. This really has worked well for me, as I don't get headaches now, as I used to. I feel really fresh under this light, and don't feel tired working for long hours on my computer, any more...
