Is there a such thing as a temp foster home? Where you can put your child into and then take them back out when you're ready to tend to them?

That's usually what foster care is. But it's not a good thing usually.

not always. Foster care is a temp solution for children. Be it that they were taken away from the parents untill further notice or the parents gave them up or.... There are many diff reasons. I was put into a foster care when I was a teen because there was no room in any of the group homes around montreal and once there was room...Boom they switched me. But foster care is there for many diff reasons. But unless the foster parents want and can legally adopt the child, they are almost always temp.

Ya I was watching this tv program once...I think it was adoption stories, im not sure, but this lady gave up her baby, to a family that wanted to adopt her, and the lady had like...X...Amount of days to really make up her mind for sure, but after that and the papers were signed she couldent get her back. I think that foster care is the pre-addoption place. Like if someone gets cps called, theyll go to foster, till they get adopted perm.

Actually yes, kind of, there are places where parents who are currently unable for various reasons to care for their child(ren) can go for up to 30 days I think it is.
