1 Week Update
I have been to the tanning bed 3 times in the past 7 days. As I am quite fair-skinned I only stay in for a few minutes. My first visit was on a wolf bed for 6 minutes, second visit was for 12 minutes in a ruva, and the third was back on the wolf for 7 minutes. my skin turned pink after the first and third visits. The itching on my chest was greatly diminished after my first visit and precipitated my returning for the additional two visits. The spots have noticeably decreased in size, and the itching on my back is 80% better than a week ago.

I have also reduced the amount of sugar and total calories that I am eating. I have used a steroid cream for spot treatment which does help with some of the worst itching.

I really appreciate the advice to try a tanning bed. I hopeful that within a few more visits I can have it completely under control. At this point I even if it hasn't completely fixed my problem the itch relief has been worth it.

i have suffered with this for 7 years- i did recognized that sun exposure would help becasue the rash would go away during summer months and as soon as fall would approach the spots were back. they started on my thighs and buttock and then started going down my legs and on my arms. it was horrible. well the reason i am posting this is to help. it is now nov and i don't have one spot and there is one main reason- GLUTEN-(wheat,oats,rye,barley,malt and corn can contain it)
Eliminate it and you will see a huge difference. also add vit d for immune function. i am a doctor and it took me this long to figure this out. i hope this helps all the other people who suffer with this condition.
spot free and happy!
