Q: Am I At Risk?

My roommate is technically a virgin, but has somehow contracted hpv (warts) through genital contact nonetheless. I know this may sound a bit ignorant, but as her roommate and someone who shares the bathroom with her, should I take any precautions?

In other words, are there cases of nonsexual transmission of hpv?

Thanks!

Extremely eHealthy
You should be fine. But a few areas of caution need to be considered.Do not share the same bar of soap or wash cloths or towels.Keep your personal items just for yourself!Unless you come into contact with an open sore and then touch your vaginal area or mouth or eyes(yuck!!!),you should not have a problem.I would also use antibacterial wipes on the toilet, just for peace of mind.Good luck to you both.

U have no reason to be scared of it at all. What that person said is bs. U cant catch it like that. The only way u can is through sexual contact and that is it. Its safe to drink after that person or whatever
