My blood pressure was at about the same level as yours and my doctor started me on medication. I was told that level was one that was overlooked for a long time, doctors thinking it was still low. However, the latest studies seem to indicate that our level was "falling through the cracks" and we were more susceptible to problems later on.

Talk to your doctor about it and monitor it for sure because it can sneak up on you. If the doctor suggests starting meds, then do it.

Mine was about that too, something like 135/90, I was having a lot of stress, so the doctor said to come back in a month....I concentrated on cutting almost all salt out of my diet and doubling the amount of water I was drinking, and getting just a bit more exercise and trying not to get too het up and stressed, and in five weeks I had it down to 115(ish)/78, I htink the bottom number is the more important?

Anyway, before you try medication, have a look at your lifestyle, there is so much salt in almost all processed food, and that is the main thing, because it makes your cells swell up.
