Q: Painful Pimple/blister-like Bumps

I have had a number of painful bumps that appear to be similar to pimples, except that they dont pop when you squeeze them. They almost look like blisters, and become red and swollen and then eventually go away on their own. They are found mostly around the top pubic area, and can get painful at times. Any ideas on what it could be? Thanks in advance!

Sounds to me (and I could be wrong, but) like you have ingrown hairs, or razor burn if you shave.

You can have ingrown hairs even if you don't shave, and they can appear to be swollen pimple like things that just don't pop. And if you do try to pop them, it often hurts.

Razor burn, as most girls know, especially in the pubic area, gets really itchy sometimes and red, and swollen, and all that fun stuff.

If you're really concerned though, you should go to a health clinic (before they heal and go away) and get them tested. Just incase you're worried about scabies or herpes or anything.

But, I really do think its just ingrown hairs or razor burn.

Or you know, just some skin irratation.
But! I'm not a doctor, obviously.

... Yeah.
