Damaged My Right Pec Badly. Visually Distorted. Posted: 01-10-05 14:18pm
Last night, I was doing a few cool down
reps on the smith machine (bench press on
rails so you cant drop the weights). I
was only doing 90lbs + the bar, so it was
about 110lbs. 110 is no problem for me, I
can do about double that without
straining, so I was definately not pushing
myself hard. I went too far down with the
bar, it was just about touching my chest
and when I went to raise the bar, my chest
started hurting. I got up and looked at
it in the mirror, and while flexing, a
massive section of my right pec was
shifted over towards my arm pit. It
looked like someone implanted a tangerine
under my skin just near my shoulder and
pits, and it looked like a chunk was
missing from around my sternum. About 1/3
of my pec was disfigured. It didnt even
hurt, it just felt like I was getting a
good workout. I doesnt add up, it does
not hurt, but it was visually disfigured,
so I know something ripped. I think a
tendon might have seperated from the
sternum but i'd think it would hurt,
wouldnt it? This couldnt have happened at
a worse time, my health insurance was just
dropped. Please post up your opinions and
