Ok ladies, I took a test and it came out negative. Period is a day late.

My sister is telling me that I took it wrong cuz I pee'd a tiny bit on the stick
but even if I pee'd a little, wouldn't it had still show'd a positive if I am pregnant? If I don't get my period by friday, I am going to retest.

If this helps, I had sex on dec. 27th and my period was due jan. 7th. The test I bought detects 100 miu's, maybe I don't have enough to detect??

I am so confused, maybe I should just wait it out, huh???

I also have another question, its kinda embarrassing...

Well, I told yall how my bf is moving so we are breaking up? Well, he came over yesterday and we did a lil somethin' somethin'. When he left I noticed that I was hurting down there and it was very dry (i am usually wet). And it's still and dry and hurts a lil. Maybe cuz we was doin' it for 2 hrs? I have never did it for that long. Lmao! Sorry if this is too much info
but I am just wondering if any of yall have gone thru this b4?

Well, your comments would b very helpful.

Love, aniyah

Hey girl...Ok I hope this helps you.

If your cycle is about 28 days long (im guessing) then you were most likely to ovulate december 18th-23rd.
And if you were to get pg during that time, your due date would be around september 13th.

Since you had sex on the 27th, I think your in the clear. Buuuut...
If your cycle isnt 28 days long, I could be wrong by a couple of days. And theres only 4 days missing.

If your cycle is 32 days long, then you would have most likely ovualted the 22nd-27th, and since you had sex on the 27th, theres a possibility. The due date would be around september 17th.

If you havent gotten your period still, I would test again. And make sure you get the test strip in the urine stream for every second of the given time. You can mess up a test that way...
When I took mine (i took 2) the 1st I didnt think I got enough, and I went too much on the 2nd, it actually flooded the digital read out window, the whole screen turned pink rather than one or two lines. After about 5 minutes I checked, the first one had 2 pink lines, and the second had 2 bright purple lines.

Hey-if you need anything else, you can pm me. :)

Thanks hun, your response means everything to me!
Actually my cycle is every 24 days and I had sex on day 12, which is one of my fertile days. I actually have symptoms when i'm ovulating so therefore I kno there's a possibility I am pregnant. I took another test this
morning and it was negative, could I still be pregnant and the test is just not detecting it?

Thanks again, aniyah

I think that you probably would have already gotten a positive.. If you were... However... Are you using your fmu (first morning urine) and which test are you using, I found first response to be really well. If your period does not still come in a few more day maybe you could call the doctor and they may be able to do a blood test... Best of luck

You could very well be pregnant and the hcg levels in your system just arent high enough for that specific test to pick it up....Testing with a hpt that requires 100miu of hcg is less likely to show up accurately early on, because it requires a lot of the hormone , meaning u would have to wait until ur body reaches that level, if u are indeed pregnant, before it would show up positive...And everybodys bodies and hormone levels are different, so theres no telling when that would be....Here's a list of the most popular hpts and the amount of hcg required to result in an accurate reading.

in general, tests rated to detect the lowest hcg levels should be able to detect pregnancy sooner than those rated for a higher level. However, it is important to note that this chart rates the manufacturer's claimed sensitivity, not test accuracy.

**hope this was of some help to you hun, best of luck!**
