I've been gone for 6 hours and not a single reply to this post? A simple yes or no would suffice.. Sheesh.

Well since none of them answered this thread I am assuming that no.. They have and never will be a surrogate. I know they have read this post because they have posted in other ones. Until you guys answer.. I am assuming the answer is no.

Surrogates
Surrogacey is something I have thought about but unfortunatly I realise that I am to selfish as I do,nt think that I could carry a fetus/ baby for 40 weeks and not get attatched to it . So sadly I had to decide against it as it would not be in the slightest bit fair to the couple involved.I hope this starts the comments coming in for you bd. It really would be good to hear the views of both pro lifers and pro choice . Sorry if it is,nt what you wanted bd but there you have it i,m just to selfish.

No I have never been a surrogate and don't plan on being one. I too would get too attached to the child growng inside of me. What does this have to do with abortion??

You mean you wouldn't bless a poor infertile couple with a child because you would get too attached? How selfish of you! If you think that you would get too attached to adopt it out then what about the woman who you want to force to reman pregnant? What if they become too attached after a while and can't give it up but at the same time.. In no way can afford it or aren't mentally stable for a child? And if you're going to say "well they shoudn't of had sex".. Then fine.. People make mistakes.. I personally don't consider sex a mistake but i'll play your game.. People do give into temptation and they make mistakes.. A born child shouldn't have to suffer for it! And no.. It does not suffer during abortion because it doesn't know a thing and if it does.. It is over pretty quickly though I doubt it feels or understands what's going on.

Lolololololol--bd you just always make my day with your antics.... It's not being selfish....It's called love. Maybe one of these "kids" who don't want to be burdened with a child could be a surrogate for these couples.

Maybe if my sister couldn't have kids (which she can since I have a niece and nephew) I would but.....

It's selfish.. All you are caring about is your self in this issue.. Don't you understand? Woman are supposed to be breeders and then breed for others who can't! If you can't handle being a surrogate..What makes you think others can.. The same thing that you can't handle is what you're expecting other people to do like it's nothing. Btw.. I was being sarcastic about the "woman are breeders" thing

It;s very hard being a surogate i'm sure. That's why I would never be one for a omplete set of strangers. Like I said maybe if it was a relative or something or maybe if I did not want any children of my own.

Well neither do people who experience unwanted pregnancies becuase the only difference between surrogacy and those who experience unwanted pregnancies is that surrogacy is on purpose and to a predesignated couple.

ah, but when pro-life syas "well she can just adopt her kid out instead of having an abortion," then it now is clear that this is not such an easy decision after all, right?

Nothing is an easy decision. But what does adoption have to do with "taking a life" I said "i think there is a huge difference between wanting to create a life and wanting to take the chance for one away."

i wonder what ms. Rosie would think. I read her bio off her personal site and it said she had been adopted. I wonder if she would have rather been aborted.....
