I would try alternative therapies - bowen therapy, acupressure, acupuncture, naturopathy, holistic medicine, hypnotherapy etc.

Hi, I have the same problem and I was told it was because I have had trama to my neck, therefore the blood vessels tighten up in the shoulders when you sleep and this causes numbness and pain in the arms and hands. You should see a doctor and maybe get into physio, its helping a bit. I hope I have helped you a little. Take care, cindy
