I felt her when I drank alot of oj, the doctor said it was from all the acid. It feels to me like...A bump. If I lift up my shirt, I can see my stomach move. It looks like its jumping.

I Am 23 Weeks But I Didn't Feel Kiks

i wrote the above almost 2 weeks ago and a log could change movement wise in 2 weeks from what I witnessed. Because withing the past week I noticed I can feel small kicks outside the stomach and before only I could feel them inside and nobody else could put their hand on my stomach and feel him. Now they can. My husband did this morning. It is so great. This morning is the first time I was able to tell that I actually felt either an arm or leg from the outside, he was moving like crazy. I'm 23 weeks.

It must be very exciting to feel your child move for the first time. I am 17 weeks pregnant, but I haven't felt anything yet. It's my first child, though, so I think it could take a while...

At 16 weeks I can feel the baby moving. I would describe it as popping. My hubby can feel it and my mom got to feel it two days ago. Before I even explained what it felt like to her so jumped and said, "wow, it feels like bubbles popping!" it's a wonderful feeling. I've mostly stopped drinking caffine but the first time I felt the baby was last week after I had had a cup of tea. I know he/she moves a lot because the last two ultrasounds i've had he/she looked like they were dancing.

Aww...They looked like the ywere dancing? :) that's cute, and really neat. Is htis your first pregnancy? When did you feel baby moving? Like how far along were you the first time you felt baby moving? I'm 14 weeks and can't wait to feel baby moving/quickening.

From what I remember it was about 4 months, back then we counted months not weeks. But the quickening feels like the butterfly in the stomach. And right after the quickening you feel little tiny kicks or bubbles.
Then before you know it youll be saying "hey, could you move that foot outta my rib cage??"

wonderful to hear about the baby's moving--i always thought that was the best part. I loved it. I had one who hickupped all the time and I would drink something to try and make him stop.

Right after drinking or eating something sweet--stay still and listen you might just feel your baby for the first time. I remember the hospital giving me sprite to try and make the baby move.

I also think we miss some of the kicks if the baby is facing towards our back.

yea the dancing was adorable! This is my first pregnancy and i'm 17 weeks now. The first time I felt the baby was at about 14 weeks. It was just once and my stomach was under heat. It felt like butterflies. Then at about 16 weeks I stated to feel it more and more. My mom and hubby have been able to feel it a couple of times. It seems to be getting higher in my belly and stronger every time. If this is your first pregnancy and you're realatively thin, you will probably start feeling it pretty soon. Its the greatest feeling ever!

16 Weeks
Hi everyone, I am new to posting. This is my first time. I was just wondering if anyone has ever felt the butterfly/bubble feeling as high up as right under their ribs? I had that for over an hour last night, but it seems too high up to be the baby. I thought the baby was below my belly button. Confused? Any thoughts?
