Morning Sickness With Pregnancy How Common
Posted: 01-05-05 15:44pm

Hi. I'm almost 20 and I know its too soon for most people to think its right to have kids, but I can't wait. I will wait till marriage, but there is just one thing setting me back, morning sickness. Now my mother had four kids and never vomited with any of us, and my sister had a son and the same for her, but I have an intense fear of vomiting (emetophobia). Like the thought of having morning sickness freaks me out, and it seems not worth it to me. So I just wanted to hear some other people's experiences and how long and what their morning sickness was like, and what they did to over come it. Thansk. -ruby

Everyone is different as well as every pregnancy. I didnt have any morning sickness out of any of my pregnancy's until this one my last preg. It is a girl. It lasted until I was almost 12 weeks. I was put on medicine that helped stop it and trust me it worked miracles. Dont let that stop you from the miracle of life. Im sure there are worse things then vomiting that you can think of.

I don't think anyone is a huge fan of vomiting. I had really bad morning sickness and also was put on meds like taz and was told to stop taking my pre-natal vitamins which helped tremendously. As taz said everyone is different. It's possible that you won't get sick at all. You won't know till it happens.

You might want to check out e.M.D.R., it works well on people with phobias and things that have happened in the past, try to be more positive, I am sure you will be fine and if you do end up getting it the Dr. Can help you with this.
Sincerely,
sandy
