Q: Three Problems Need Advice

Yes three. I'm only fifteen too.

The biggest and most distressing is that I was (is) a late bloomer. I started puberty at about 14 and a half. I was progressing normally, and things were looking up, when early in the summer, it stopped overnight. Completely. I stopped developing, growing hair, everything, even no body odor. And my sex drive nearly disappeared. That was over six months ago, and it hasn't gotten better in the least.

Two. I have no sensation in my penis almost, its like its numb. Its been this way as long as I can remember. Orgasm brings a little pleasure, but that is it, nothing I can do will make before that feel good in the least. I am sick and tired of living like that.

And third, way way way premature ejaculation. Back when I used to get turned on, I would reach orgasm in six seconds, no joke. I simply can't enjoy masturbation at all, even back in my pubervescent days, it was very short and non pleasurable, I only did it to satisfy cravings, and now I just do it out of habit. All this is very very depressing, and I really need advice.

I Think Your Mind Is Playing Tricks On You.
1. If you are only 15, you are still going through puberty. Most boys/men don't fully develop until 18. (girls develop an average at 16). A friend of mine in a short kid in highschool heighth wise and when he was in college grew to be around 6 feet in height. When he went back to his 1st highschool reunion, he was not recognized. Look at your parents and your heredity. If you have a good relationship with your dad, ask him about your questions. The teenage years are so unnerving because of all the hormones. Your body will grow in spurts. Enjoy each phase in life as it happens.

2. You are still only 15 and still developing. Don't stress. Don't take drugs or steriods which could mess with your sexual urgings.

3. You are only 15. Premature ejaculation is a problem when you are trying to please a female sex partner(wife) so you don't deny her pleasure. You are not there yet.

My advise is not to rush your life. You are in a period of life of new discoveries about life and yourself. Enjoy each stage of life as it comes and don't rush. I am in my late 30's. I love my life, wife and son and would not want to go back. But always think it would be nice to go back and live those years with the knowledge I have now.

Enjoy your life.
Do activities you like to do to build your self esteem. (weight lifting, running, etc).
Stimulate your mind.
Make friends who will stick to you closer than a brother that you can share you ideas and good times.

Men's health magazine (rondale press out of emmeous, pa) started a magazine geered toward teenage boys. You may want to subscribe to it to help you understand what happens to boys during their teenage years.

Best wishes and enjoy each stage in life. As you get older, time goes faster.

If You Have a Problem, See Your Doctor.
Go to your doctor for a physical and ask him some of these questions.

No question is dumb question especially if you think you have a problem or looking to understand your body.

Do you do anything that is rough to your organ to mess with your blood circulation or pc muscle which controls holding urination and slowing seman/orgasim temporily until you pop? If you have, then you should make not to your doctor.

Sorry I can't give you any more insight.

Correct Response.
If you have, you should note this to your doctor.

I may well have. I did get in the rather disgusting habit of messing with it constantly. Justas a habit. It could be something else though. I guess asking a doctor would be the best thing but it'll be tough to work up the guts to do it.

Let's Say You Went to a Doctor, What Would You Tell Him?
Let's see if this forum can help you with what questions you can ask a doctor if you make an appointment to take the uncertainty out of this. According to what you stated, may have done something you should not have.

If you did, you can ignore it and live with it or see if you can correct it and move live on. This forum is set up to help people. Let us help you.

Please note, everyone at one point in their lives may do things we may not. You learn from them and move on. It is not the end of the world, especially at 15.

No one knows who user112233 is and if you feel weird over time you can change your name. After you get some ideas, I would may be recommend you talking to some male figure in your life your respect and trust. Hopefully it would be your dad or uncle. The things you are experiencing in life generally they probably went through. My hope is they have compassion to help you and stand by you.

Tomz

back to my question, if you went to see your doctor, how would you tell him your problem so he can help. Again, let this forum help you!

In my next physical preferably, I would akwardly say that I was kinda going through a growth spurt last year and that it sort of just stopped over the summer. And when he asks me to be more specific, i'd say well I started to like girls a lot more and get hair and stuff, and grow a lot, but all of that just like stopped over night. As for the other two things, well, I wouldn't say anything about that unless asked, I would probably ignore them until I was an adult and I could go to an actualy "sex therapist" or whatever.

Hi User!!
Give me a few days to think about an appropriate response.

Few issues 1st,

1. How is your relationship with your father? Do you think this is something you would be able to talk to him about privately? Do you know your father loves you and would do anything for you? How is your family relationship?

The reason I state this is all parents generally walk through much of the same feelings their kids do when they were young. If you are able to share this with someone it may be better. You need to be able to determine this.

2. Make sure you give yourself a break from messing with it (at least 1 week plus).

3. I did some initial research. I believe your goal would to be referred to a urologist by your doctor. I don't know what you did, but a urologist has more training on what would cause problems of your erection and what solutions are available. At the age of 15, I do believe your parents would need to be aware if you see any doctor especially if they are paying the bill. With your primary care doctor, you may not need to go to specifics, but with a urologist, you would need to go to details. Please note to encourage you, whatever you did or done would probably not be new in the eyes of a urologist. They probably have seen it all. You will need to give them the information to help you.

Like I said, let me think about this a little more.

I hope otherwise you are doing well! Are you into football this weekend. I am an eagles fan and hope they finally get to the superbowl.

Do you do any exercise (weight lifting, running, swimming, anything) to reduce stress of being a teenager? Life will change to the better once you graduate from highschool/college.

Best wishes,

tom

Off the Topic.
Hey user!

This is off the topic to make you think. Dream.

1. If you could do or be anything, what would you want to be and why?

2. Who (what person) do you most admire and why?

3. What activity would you want to do in life that you have not done and why?

I will get back to you further on the other issue after you answer these questions.
