Well you say, he is 33 years old, and does
not want sex.. It happens to both women
and men. I am 40 yrs old, and want it
all the time. I have heard of both men
and women having the same issue. Not
sure if anything is actually wrong with
the guy, just his sex drive is low. And
of course, there are things he could
probably take, I am not sure of what,
because like I said, I have no problems in
that area at all..

I'd say the poor guy has a problem such as
job related or depression. When I was
that age I wanted sex as much as possible.
Now that i'm older, I still want sex but
can't perform. Is your husband on
medication?
Some meds take the desire away. My wife
is willing and able 24/7. It's she now
who must understand me.
My doctor tested my tos., said it was
normal. The wife and me think its the
dam blood pressure medicine and depression
meds.
I told the doctor I have no desire for
sex. Upsets me because my wife is ten
years younger than me and I want to please
her. She is willing to do anything for
me but nothing works.
I have no feelings, its like the
medication just takes the 100% feeling and
cuts it down to 20 %, which is not enough
to complete the sex act.

I think it varies from person to
person...I can turn my sex drive on and
off.
Sometimes I want sex constantly other
times I couldn't care less for it.
Maybe you have a hormonal imbalance.

You need to get your partner to get
testosterone levels checked. This is the
hormone that gives men their sex drive.
If this checks out okay, look at factors
causing reduced sex drive such as
depression, medication, lifestyle etc.

A visit to the doctor is in order. Many
things can effect your sex drive. If your
hubby is on any kind of meds, that could be
the culprit. If you read the list of
side-effects on many meds,sexual
side-effects can happen with many of
them.Stress is another big one,if your
hubby is stressed out,sex can be
affected. He should see his doc and be
honest. Many men see thier docs due to loss
of sex drive and it's not something to
ignore.Good luck to both of you!Patty

My partner just has a low sex drive.
He isn't on any meds, doesn't suffer from
excess stress or any other similar things.
He just plain and simple has never had a
high sex drive, just like I have never had
the urge to eat certain foods, or do
certain sports.
However we have a very strong
relationship, with plenty of touching be
it holding hands or cuddling.
A low sex drive doesn't mean no children -
I am now 3 months pregnant.
For our entire relationship we probably
have has sex only every couple of months,
although sometimes it will be several
times for a few days then nothing for
ages.
So don't worry - enjoy what you have, and
remember there are plenty more ways to get
sexual pleasure other than penetration.

There isn't anything necessarily wrong
with him and I doubt he needs medical
treatment. He may just not be in the
mood.
However, if you are round about the same
age then you should be hitting your sexual
peak, so you need to tell him to get some
viagra!!!!!!!! You only get your peak
once!
