at the age of 13, your body is changing rapidly so don't assume you have a problem as much going through a growth spurt.
For some cancers, heredity and immunity play a big part on how susceptable you are to them. Life style (eating, smoking, etc) play the other part.
You are still pretty young so your risk should be quite low. Here is where you need to ask your father or older male confidant questions.
When I was young my father was not able to establish a verbal repore with me. So when I hit puberty and all other changes (which will happen and are normal) I was uneasy and wondered if something was wrong. I never thought to realize my father was young once also.
As a dad, I personally want my son to know if he has any questions it is ok to ask. It is normal to wonder the changes you experience in your teen years are ok.
If you are in any sports, schools require you to have a physical. This would give you an opportunity to see a doctor and ask questions.
