The last couple of days i've been having these cramps that arent as bad as menstrual cramps but I can feel them. I'm not bleeding or anythang and I just figured it was probably from the baby growing and stretching. Then I was talkin about them to somebody at work and they didnt think I should be doing that. They said any type of cramping was bad. I thought id call the doctor tomorrow but I just wanted to get others opinions as well. Also I seen where somebody was 16 weeks and was going to find out if it was a boy or girl. I know that the sonos arent always 100% accurate, but would it be fairly easy to be able to tell by then. I go in to my next Dr. Appt. On friday and id like to know what im having I just thought it would be to early. Anyways...Any replies would be helpful about the cramping.

I have had those types of pains and my doctor told me that it was my cervix adapting to the pressure of the growing baby. I just turned 16 weeks today so we are not that far from each other. How old are you?

I had cramps almost everyday until about 18 weeks..Then it kinda went away..And now, at 22 weeks i'm starting to get em again..My doctor said it's probably just stretching pains, cuz the baby is doing great..And also she said it could be because I don't drink enough fluids, maybe you should increase your fluids, it might help..

I'm 18 amost 19 (on the 25th). I called the Dr. This morning and talked to one of his nurses about it...Just to be on the safe said and she said that everythang should be fine and that it was just the baby growing. I'm almost 16 weeks and not showing one bit. :( to everyone else I just look like i've gained some weight cuz I eat a lot. My stomachs always growling at me so I eat. I asked my Dr. About always being hungry cuz I gained 10 lbs. In the first 3 months and he said it was ok. The good thang is i'm tall so I dont show the 10 lbs. Like you would think. Anyways...Thanks for the replies.

Im not even pregnant and ive heard alot that cramping (strecthing) type pain is the making room for the baby. Your body will be going through alot of changes and im sure this is a normal thing. But get checked out just to be sure. Good luck
