Hi!

I was just wondering if anyone else has my problem and if im going crazy or not...
When I first started taking the pill I told my doctor I am not good at swallowing pills and she assured me that they were really tiny and lots of people have that problem. I started taking alesse and could swallow them perfectly, however I had to change brands due depression caused by them. I changed to tri-cyclen.. These I could not swallow, they got stuck to my tounge and were practically dissolved before I got a chance to swallow them. So I went back to my doctor (as they also caused depression) and mentioned I couldn't swallow because they got stuck to my tounge and almost dissolved, but she didn't say anything about it minimizing the effectiveness or anything. So she put me on triquilar.. These are coated, and I can't swallow them either!! I'm on my second week and I have also been extremely depressed while taking them, so plan to go off the pill after seeing my doctor this week. They are definitely not right for me
however, I have been freaking out this week because I thought that maybe if I don't swallow them properly then I could be pregnant? (my boyfriend and I don't use condoms by the way!) today I was going crazy because I thought I was pregnant.. (maybe I am!!?? Aagh!) as I had headaches and nausea. I know these could be side effects of the pill, or just me and my paranoid self...
Oh and also I take my pill at exactly the same time everyday! I haven't ever missed one or taken them late!
Please can anyone help me!? Thank you!!!

Have you thought about going on the depo shot or the patch instead? As for pregnancy.. I can't say either way... But to avoid this panic in the future I would recommend changing to a non-pill birth control (just as an fyi.. The patch is much easier than the shot which can have a bunch of side-effects)

Thank You:)
Thanks a lot!!! :) do you know if the patch can cause depression though? It would be great if I could still stay on some form of birth control because I like knowing when my period is going to come! Without birth control it was horribly irregular, every 2 months or so, and came with absolutely awful cramps where I would feel sick and very faint and often had to stay home in bed.

Hey.. I'm actually on the patch right now and pretty susceptable to depression.. But I haven't had any problems with it. I was unsure about it in the beginning (having to wear a patch).. But I actually like it. It's been keeping me regular so far with no breakthrough bleeding. The only side effect i've had is really sore breasts.. But they say that can be normal and is supposed to go away after being on it for about 3 months (i'm on the second month of it). I was on the depo shot previously and it makes you really irregular.. After 6 months on it I actually stopped getting my period (which can make you a nervous wreck if you decide not to use a condom cause then you don't know if you are pregnant or not!!). Plus it made my acne go crazy which is why I started on the patch instead.
