The virus can lie dormant for I dont know how long. I cant really tell you what to do, you should discuss it with a doctor and depending on how long it's been since he had contact with the person . . . ? In other words, if you think its worth the risk use protection no matter what!!

Kitty,kitty.If you are going to have multiple sexual partners,safer sex is a must!!!If a guy refuses to wear a condom-move on!A few minutes of pleasure is not worth exposing yourself and you other sex partners to a horrible illness.I have lost friends to hiv and it is one of the worst ways to die.Carry your own condoms and stick to spermicidally lubricated ones.If you should ever find yourself in a stable,monogamous relationship,then you can stop using condoms,provided that you both test negative and are using another form of birth control.In the meantime-go get yourself tested for all the usual std's and hiv.

I did a report on hiv/aids in 1996 and at that time the virus was known to sometimes take up to ten years to show up. I don't know what the latest news is about how long the incubation could be though.

Don't you care about yourself and others, might you be doing this for attention? Don't you realize this can kill you and others, or do you care? I am not trying to judge you, but don't you feel by now that you need some professional help?

sex is perfectly natural, but not naturally perfect . Clean it up, or die. If you contract hiv and knowing continue unprotected sex, you could be charged with murder. :x

Ive made him put a condom on .. Since he told me that and sometime next week I will be getting tested

I get tested for hiv regularly because I am paranoid freak. I just changed over to kaiser as my hmo, and had to sit with an hiv counselor for the first time today. She told me that using latex condoms is the only way to reduce the chance of getting hiv. I have been using latex free condoms for quite a while now and had not idea it was only reducing my risk of pregnancy. It's like i've been having unprotected sex!!
