Sometimes I feel like I can't swallow. It doesn't feel like a lump and it doesn't hurt. It occurs when i'm eating but sometimes when i'm not eating. It feels like my throat is tight or closed and sometimes affects my breathing, and I need to breath through my mouth. For example, when you swallow, you can't breathe. It hasn't happened for a long time until recently. I get really scared when it happens and it just makes it worse. My dad says he has almost the same thing. Could it be genetic?
