Hi my name is nancy. Im 20 years old, mother of 7month old baby boy, and work as a medical assisant and work for a internal medicine doctor and part-time volunteer for a non-profit pregnancy clinic. I am certified by the state of california to perform administrations of medicines through injections( vaccines) and perform venipunture( drawing of blood) for medical testing purposes. I love to help people, adults as well as children. If anyone needs any advice or have questions feel free to ask. Even though we all dont have the same opinions and beliefs in certain topics I try to be fair not let my beliefs interfere with the helping of others(example...If your 14 and are not a virgin anymore and are now pregnant....Even though I have a strong objection twards situations like that, instead of being judgemental and express my feelings of the situation, as a medical professional, it is my duty to help others as I would help my own self.

Okay I gota question...I was reading that there is something called human parvovirus...Now, about 2 months ago we had to put 5 of our newborn puppies to sleep due to canine parvovirus...Are these two different viruses or can people get the parvo? Im scared b/c I read that if a fetus is infected or w/e with the virus it can cause spontaneous miscarriage. I know that we have the parvo in our backyard and that our older dogs carry it and I was wondering if I can get it from them or if it is a totally different kind of virus...Please help!!!I dont want to have a miscarriage!!!
Thanx,
pregnajordan
