Q: Gall Stones?

Hello,

i'm new to theese boards. Maybe theres someone that can give me a bit of advice?

My problem is, about 2 weeks ago I started getting a pain under my right rib cage, which then spread around to my back and shoulder blade, when I tired to breath, there was a strong sharp pain in both sides of my back, so I could do deep breaths, I had to do short breaths. Also I feel bloated, have alot of wind from both ends, feel tired all the time.

The pain does seem to have calmed down alot, it's like attacks of pain, does that normally happen with gall stones? But I have been eating fatty foods still, just cut down on them a bit.

Also gall stones runs in the family, my mum and her two sisters have also had it.

I would be very grateful for any help.

Thanks in advance.

Kerrie

Yep...
I had gallstones about 5 years ago and thats exactly what mine felt like..Ask for an ultrasound before they perform all those crazy tests, thats how they found I had gallstones, its the easiest procedure I went through and they resorted to the last!! So please just mention you believe its gallstones and you want an u/s. :) good luck! Surgery will be a breeze haha!
