Started Taking Next Month's Pills Without Waiting... Posted: 12-26-04 09:07am
My girlfriend accidentally started taking
her next month's pills without taking the
fake pills for the 7 days. Her period
should have happened three days ago and
she is all nervous (even though we don't
have unprotected sex on my end) and i'm
wanting to assure her that since she took
her pills when she shouldn't have, that
now her period time will be messed up.
Is this correct and what should she do in
regards to starting to take her pills
again?

Oh geez! How did she not take the blanks?
Anyhow yea, it would slow down or stop
her period! She should contact her doc
regarding the pills

She'll be fine.The dummy pills do not
contain hormones,so you get your period.It
is perfectly okay to do that once in a
while.She is not getting her period
because she started a new pill pack.She
should finish that new pack and then she
will get her period as usual when she is
done.If she is that worried,she should
call her doc.Good luck to you both.
