Q: Vomitting While On Pill

I have been on alesse for about 6 months now and everything has been normal. I take my pill at night and at the same time everyday and have yet to miss a pill. Recently I have been getting morning sickness at least once a week. I know I am not pregnant because I have gotten my period within the month and I also know that vomitting may be a side affect of the pill. I'm just confused and wondering why it is happening now when i've been on the pill for quite some time. If it is because of the pill, does anyone have any ideas on how to prevent this morning sickness, or are there any anti-nausia pills I can take. Any help would be appreicated as this problem is really starting to ruin my mornings and nights.
Thanks!
Meera

Hi there,
it doesn't sound like the bcp's that are making you sick, it sounds like to me that you may be pregnant, you can still get your period when you're pregnant. But I was told it is safe to take gravol, I prefer the children's gravol, when I had nausea while on triquilar it was in the morning as well. I took 1 chewable children's gravol tablet and I was fine through out the day. If you take the normal kind of gravol it'll knock you out and you'll sleep alllllll day, learned my lesson, hehe. But hope this helps, toodles.

the Pill Can Cause Morning Sickness
The pill can cause morning sickness since it is making your body "pretend" it is pregnant by way of hormones. I find if you take the pill at night, the morning sickness is the worst. If you take the pill in the morning there is little to no morning sickness.
