When does conception take place. I also was with my husband in september and according to a date check on my last menstrual cycle the conception date was four days after we were together. What do you think? Embarassed

Conception takes place as soon as the sperm and egg - or ova if you really wanna be technical - meet. But - sperm can live inside a womans body from 5-7 days. So within a week of sex. The other thing is once the egg is released it must be fertilized by the sperm within 24 hours. So if u know when u ovulate that can really help ... I sound like a pdr teacher hope it helped ~melissa

So if I ovulated on the 8th of august and I had sex that day it is possible for me to have gotten pregnant that same day?

Hello you could definetely get prenant if you ovulate aug 8 and have
sex that day you are most fertile on the day you ovulate and the days
that lead up to that day good luck to you
