Waiting For a Christmas Card Posted: 12-21-04 22:16pm
:( I sent a christmas card out dec. 11 to
someone I had been swapping e-mails with
for a few months, and even had a pleasant
lunch with. But, after ten days, I have
yet to hear a reply on my christmas card
and I feel devastated, like the person
really doesn't like me.
And, no, I haven't completed all my
christmas cards yet. Is this an
unreasonable expectation. Does no reply
realy mean I am not liked?

Don't Take It Personally Posted: 12-21-04 23:05pm
8) I know that's easy for me to say, but
really don't take it personally. The
person may not have had a chance to send
out their cards yet, especially if they
have a lot on their plate. I know I am
really bad during the holidays, I wind up
trying to do so many things at the same
time and end up forgetting alot of
important things and people. People can
be really scatter brained during the
holidays. Either they are waiting until
after the holidays to do something special
or they waited until the last minute to
send out a card to you which of course
means that you will not get it until after
the holidays anyway. Please don't let it
get you down. I know it hard, but
concentrate on something else and think
about enjoying your holiday. What is
they say " when you let a problem alone,
it resolves itself" let it alone.

Some people just dont send christmas cards
out or maybe theyve just been busy, I sent
out like 30 and I got about 5 back lol so
dont take it to heart, I wouldnt judge if
a person likes you or not by them sending
u a christmas card.
