Depression And Pregnancy Posted: 12-21-04 19:49pm
I know just as well as the next pregnant
woman that being depressed while pregnant
may have detrimental effects of an unborn
baby, but I cant seem to make myself
happy. My supposedly wonderful boyfriend
cheated on me with one of my friends
sisters threatened, my mother and told me
he was going to kidnap my baby as soon as
he is born! My father has disowned me and
on top of all that I have no financial
means to raise a baby. Nothing seems to
be going my way and I constantly obsess
over my baby's health because not knowing
I was pregnant I continued to take
benedryl and vicodin. I have tried
everything to try to cheer myself up but
nothing works, do ya'll have any
suggestions?

It seems uve hit rock bottom, like you
only have that baby, right? I went
through this with my 4th pregnancy once I
sobered up. I don't know what to tell
you, I got better through in-patient drug
treatment, but I dont think that will help

Jen what happened to the job you got?
How is greg acting now?
And you have to pull thru this you have to
think past it and put a smile on your
face.
What are you doing for money? Is your mom
helping? Are you insured? Is the baby?
Hate to say it but if you dont think
financially or emotionally you will be
able to do it... Have you thought of
adopting out your baby? Giving them a
life your unable to provide?
