I am married and 21 years of age. I suppose some of you know me from my previous posts.
I had bad cramps for a about 2 weeks and very sore boobs for awhile and I was on my 40th day of my cyle, still no period but cramps.
So I thought it was coming and took too many mefenamic acid tablets to stop the cramps. Then I was throwing up and felt kinda light headed because of the overdose. So me and my husband went to the hospital to check whether I was ok. Just before I was about to be discharged, they asked me to test. And it came positive in a sec.I found out that I was pregnant when least expected it.
First I thought it was too good to be true. Argued with the nurses saying its a false positive and blah blah. Then went tdown to gp and took two tests, they were positive too!!! Bought another test on the way home and tested the following day, no wonder that was positive too.
So I am officially pregnant. But I am confused as to how far along I am. My cycle has been a bit weird lately. My lmp was oct 26th(started that date and lasted 3-4 days). The period is spetember, I was late that time on the 38 day of my cycle and had bad cramps, worse than usual. Now I come to think about it, I could have been miscarrying then.Anywayz my normal cycle is 28-32. But since last august its been a bit funny, I used to bleed a week after my period, not that I needed a pad, but kinda brown and sometimes red.
What I want to ask you ladies is that how many weeks am i? Am I nearly 8 weeks or 6 weeks or something else?? When I saw the gp on 6 th of dec, I think she said I am 6 weeks and a day or something like that. Also I am a bit fussy eater, will it affect the baby if I don't eat properly?? I do take folic acid supplements everyday. Any feedback would be great. And so sorry about the longgggggg story. Thanks ladies
Well if ur last period was oct. 26th, I would say u are, 8w 1d today....But u should try to have an ultrasound done becuz they are very accurate in tellin u how far along you are.....Good luck though.....And yes you should start eating healthier becuz it does affect ur baby....
