Confused My son is 8yr old and has headaches daily. His ct came back negative, thankfully. His headaches are always on the top left side of his head. They last aprx. Only 10min. And he usually has 2-3 a day. No vision disturbances, stomach upset - no usual migraine symptoms that I can see. I just don't know what to think about this. His Dr. Said he will have to go to a neurologist next. Has anyone had a child w/ similar headaches? If so, what was the diagnosis? I don't want to unnecessarily give him meds.

Well I doubt you have to worry about unneccisary medication, every pediatrition I saw was very hesitant to prescribe anything. Some times this type of headache can be helped by certain relaxation exercises, even if you just take deep breaths with your child during the comercial breaks of a television show. Good luck, I hope he feels better soon.
