I went for a routine physical today and
ended up with a rectal exam and a psa test
ordered. I keep telling myself this is
just as a precaution and there is no way I
need to worry
but do i??????

In all probability no you don't have
anything to worry about, your doctor
mindful of your age may merely wish to
rule out any serious form of problem.
However, whilst the 40 yo+ age bracket is
typical when the greatest risk for
prostate problems arise, it certainly can
occur in younger men.

My boss's brother-in-law who is 32 was
diagnosed with prostate cancer 2 months
ago. So..It does happen unfortunately.
