Q: Period And Pregnancy??????

I was just wondering how common it is to get your period and be pregnant. My friend is still getting her period but has every symptom of pregnancy in the book. Is it possible for her to be pregnant. When she has her period she doesn't get cramps and this has been going on for 2 months now. We are really close and I know this isn't normal for her. She always stays home from school and her first day because the cramps are so bad. It also only last like 4-5 days and it usually lasts 7 or more with 3-4 heavy days. If anyone has advice then please reply. She goes to the doctor on wednesday.

How old is she?She could be, but then who knows. Ive thought I might be pregnant many times, have all the symptoms, including the short or no period and wasnt! So I suggest her just getting a test..Much less hassle. And puts your mind at ease, even better a blood test. By the way has she had unprotected sex recently then? If she did was it about 14 days into her cycle?. If so then she's more likly to be. Good luck, keep us updated!! Laughing

Re: Period While Pregnant
I'm interested to see how your friends case turns out. I'm in the same situation at the moment. I have just finished my "period" and my breasts are still very tender. It's normal for them to be sore about a week before my period but it usually dissapears as soon as I get it. I have also been tired and headachey at work this week and I have been geting plenty of sleep. I don't know if it's just wishful thinking or not. I guess i'll find out soon enough. Would love to hear other peoples opinons/experiences.

She called the doctor and the doctor told her she isn't pregnant b/c the urine test came out negative. She also won't do a blood test. I hate doctors.
