Ok I am trying to stay calm but I have no clue what is going on here! I keep having these tightening contractions in my lower abdomin. It only hurts when I try and breath in and they last about 3-5 seconds. But I am not sure whats going on. Is it possible to be having braxton hicks this early?? I am 26.5 weeks Sad

You can have braxton hicks anytime after your first trimester and they do just feel like tightening in your belly....Or knots...Sometimes they hurt and sometimes they dont...Thats what my doctor told me

I called my doc at break and he told me that it is completely normal and not to worry. I am a little excited now because I found out that this is preparing my body for labor! Just a little more assurance that everything is going good! Sorry for freaking out girls!

I am 28 weeks and have been having bh contractions off and on for a couple weeks now. It freaked me out to cause I didn't have these with my daughter. If I did, I didn't notice them
