We all met up at the cemetary gates.
Everybody had a blue and silver balloon
except steve who had 2 of each and me - I
had 2 of each plus a pink one for jayna
and a white one for all those loved and
lost or suffering.
The funeral home guys carried the tiny
white coffin (my shoebox baby) to the
grave and placed it on 2 dark purple
ribbons.
The coffin had a plaque on top which read
"baby oliver reece murray".
My aunty read the prayer and poem then the
guys lowered the coffin into the ground.
Myself and steve both threw earth in on
top.
And we let our balloons go.
A couple fo balloons caught in the trees
but all of them made a break for freedom
and headed for the skies.
I was given the purple ribbons to keep.
I understood he was going in next to my
great grandparents but he went into the
same space (

) - gonna get a
bit crowded thats 3 people in there now (

)
my dad offered to pay towards our
headstone.
My nan and grandad, my dad, my baby
brother, my mom, my aunty and uncle (dad's
older brother) myself and steve were in
attendance.
My uncle didn't think his boss would let
him have the time off (and he would have
been right) so he rang head office to ask
for a few hours off for today - how do I
say thank you to these people for coming?
