I am exactly 13 weeks today (4 months) this is my first and I am not really showing to anyone but my husband and myself. My "skinny" clothes no longer fit but I am not big enough for the maternity stuff. You will get to hear the baby's heartbeat around 10 weeks (bring tissue - it is awesome). Lately, I have been feeling some serious stretching pain in my pelvic bones and stomach muscles. Laying on an electric blanket (on high) helps! If you want more info ron what the baby will be like, go to storknet.Com. Hope that helps hun!
Sorry...Don't use them on high..Use the pad or blanket on low....My pregnancy brain again!

Second Trimester
The second trimester is better than the first by far. You are not as tired as in the first. You have more energy. And during the second trimester you hear the baby's heartbeat and you can fill the baby move for the first time which is awesome. A really good website to become a member on is babycenter.Com. Good luck with your pregnancy.

Heating Pad
I think that is right. I think I remember reading that when I was pregnant with my daughter. Heating pads are bad while you are pregnant.

I am sorry, heating pads and electric blankets have to be on low while used but my doc said they were ok as long as they are not on "high"
