You Are Not Alone!!!!!!

Jenny, you are not alone, I weigh 235 and have similar problems. The energy I do have, I spend taking care of 2 children, and not being able to use the energy to exercise. After my recent surgery, the docs said I am very borderline diabetic. I switched my diet, and it has helped me some. Perhaps is can get you on the right track. Cut out the sugars, ex- soda, drink diet. If you drink the powdered iced tea, try diet or make some from scratch. Splenda sweatener really does taste like the real thing. If you are a big carb eater, cut them back. I have found that I have more energy after eating a meal when I don't have a lot of carbs. Try the good carbs instead. Baked potatoes, healthy bread, brown rice. I changed what I ate and now am working on changing the amount I eat. If it is possible, eat small meals all day, vs large meals. I have found it fills the stomach, but doesn't weigh me down. Therefore, I do have energy to continue the day. The final hint I can give you, is this, after you have eaten, do something, even if it is to do the dishes, laundry, walk around the block. Sweep the floor, etc. This gets the metabolism started even if it is rather slow, like mine. Always remember you are not alone and there are others in your situation. Don"t give up
