Here is a quick lesson on what aids really is.....Diseases such as thrush have existed for many many many years, and precede the existence of "aids" now we must remember that aids is not a disease, but rather a syndrome. The definition of that syndrome is simple, and I will use thrush as my disease example:
thrush with no hiv antibodies present = thrush
thrush with hiv antibodies present = aids
this is the definition, no matter what disease you plug in for thrush, wheater it be cervical cancer, or even the obscure kaposi's sarcoma...
What makes this definition disturbing is that the only real spikes in the numbers of aids cases happens when the list of diseases you can put with hiv to satisfy the criterion for aids expands......
