Hi. I'm currently in recovery from a strong amphetamine addiction (adderall). It's not as strong as meth but it f*ed up my life just as bad. I have been sober for 7 days. I am having a extremely hard time. The reason is life seems too hard. It's too hard without adderall. I don't remember how to cope with having to pay attention at work. Any advice? If I had to give some advice, I would say to never touch the stuff. Once you know what it's like being on adderall, you'll never want to face life without it. Somebody help me please!

Adderall
Hey matt.... I understand your situation. I am a recovering meth addict and an adderall addict. I've been sober from meth for 15 weeks, but am still on adderall. It's a horrible, horrible addiction and I completely understand how life is terribly painful, stressful and frustrating without it. The first week is always gonna be the hardest, but stick with it. Every day will get better and easier. If I were you, I would talk to your doctor about getting on strattera. It's a non-stimulant drug for add/adhd. I was on it for awhile and it worked pretty well. You don't feel it like you do adderall, so you won't form an addiction to it. I would read up on it and give it a shot if your doctor thinks it's right for you. It will help you with your add and make your recovery a lot easier to deal with. Hope this helped.
