I am on my second month on the ortho tri cyclin pill and I missesd one of the pills on the first week of the pack (the white ones). I took it as soon as I remembered and then took the following one at the regular time (doubled up). Thing is, I had un-protected intercoarse with my significant other the following day. I had just finished my period 3 to 4 days prior. Should I be worried about possible pregnancy? Should I seek the plan b pills? If anyone could help me with this i'd appresiate it...The uncertainty is killing me...Ignorance is terrible! Confused

I think you will be ok.. My recommendation to all women is to keep the insert to your bc and make sure it is handy so you can read the instructions on what to do when you miss a pill. I remember I had to read mine after missing pills a few times. I remember with the ortho pill though that you only needed to use backup protection if you missed 2 pills in a row. Since you didn't you will be ok.
