Don't you hate when this happens? When me and thomas chose the name mckinzey, we didn't know of anyone else who had a daughter with that name or who was pregnant and had chosen that name. Now that she is here, every little girl I hear about is a kenzie or mackenzie. The only thing kinzey has going for her is her name is spelled a little different than the usual mackenzie. Lol. In her kindergarten class, there will be so many kinzies they will all have to have a number after thier name so the teacher and kinzies will know which one is being talked about. Lol.
This time we've chosen raven for a girl and griffen for a boy. I'm going to freak if those names become exceeding popular within the next couple years like kinzie has. Lol

Lol.. Financially it'd be better if it were a girl just cause we already have so much girl stuff. It really doesn't matter to me either way, but I think thomas is secretly crossing his fingers for a boy

Im sure he is Wink but if you had a girl they wouldnt be too far apart. Me and my sister are only 18 months apart and are incredibly close. That would be nice for you

I know exactly how you feel! I named my daughter chloe and shortly after it seems like everyone is named chloe!!! I was mad! We named her chloe because it was original. Now it just seems like we are yuppy people that follow every name trend!!! Grrrrrrrrr

i've always loved the name mackenzie for a girl but my boyfriend hates it. He says it's a last name, but if we have a girl (i am 12 weeks preggo) mackenzie is the name I want too. There's not too many i've heard of up here. (in montreal) I like the way you spell your daughter's name (don't worry I won't steal it--lol)
