After reading through these boards, I am pretty sure I have had almost all of the symptoms listed including;
abnormally frequent flatulence (like constant)
abnormally smelly flatulence
abnormal bloating (like, to the point where my baggy pants are too tight in the waist)
abnormally frequent and urgent trips to the bathroom for #2 (5-10 x per day and only a little comes out)
g-d awful cramping
nausuea
migraines (not sure if these is related)
upper back and chest pain
lower back pain
mucus discharge in my stool
discolored stool (like bright orange when I eat carrots - is that normal?)

oh, and I am severely lactose intolerant, so I eat no lactose.
I am on and have been on a low-no fat diet and I exercise rigorously at least 4 times per week (when my stupid stomach will allow). I eat tons of fiber and protein. My diet basically consists of non-processed poultry, meat and fish, all raw vegetables, ketchup (love ketchup), eggs, fake cheese and wasa (which are basically wheat / grain crackers).

Is this celiac spru? Or something else? Is the mucus discharge in my stool grounds for seeing a doctor immediately? I know that if I cut out all but the veggies and meat, the stomach issues would probably go away, but what a boring life that would be.....Is that what 'detox' is?

I thought I would check here first, because the thought of potentially having my backside probed by a doctor (or anyone else, for that matter) makes me want to crawl up the wall. So, boards before doctors Smile your suggestions and info will be greatly appreciated!

Hi guys, hope I am not too late :)
asap please take care of your bowel, that means getting rid off all of the mucous plaque stuck inside. Good way to do it is with p&b shakes, psilliym and bentonite shake, with caprylic acid. Repopulate the gut with some acidophilus as well. Also there is tons of info on the forum as well. Go and check it out.

bowel problems, excessive gas/bloating
to anyone who has excessive gas, back pain, abnormal stools (ie. floating, pasty or otherwise unusual) Please get to a doctor and request a CA 19-9 blood test. If your insurance doesn't cover it, pay for it yourself. If the numbers are high (over 100 I believe)you need to be tested for pancreatic cancer. This test can produce a false negative. But if it is high, the chance of it being anything benign are slim. If someone had told my mother this a year ago, she wouldn't be fighting stage 3 pancreatic cancer now. This inexpensive test measures an enzyme that is produced by pancreatic cancer tumors. So please, please...get tested. I wish someone had told my mom this a year ago.
