All I know is that one should look for a specialist when it comes to plastic surgery. There are general plastic surgeons who do it all, but one needs to find a surgeon who primarily does one or two parts and that's it. They have more intensive knowledge and experience. Also, it makes it easier to research them and get references. Finally, and relatedly, ask the surgeon and/or even the receptionist for the surgeon's credentials...Then start to do your homework.
Finding the right one may cause you to travel a little bit, but it's your body and your $$$, so that really should be secondary.
Suestar- good luck on your journalism career. I'm going to school for that, too (among other things.)
peace.
