my name is damien i'm a male and i'm 21 yeasrs old I was just writing to find out whats wrong with my bladder it seems that I have 4 probilems#1 is I urinate to much I think. I can dink a cup of water and less than 2-3 min. I'll unrinate. Then i'll urinate most of the day every 10-15 min. And its starting to bother me cause it wont be a full urinate it's more like a half urinate then i'll be finished then not even 10 min. Im back in the bathroom to go again but I do drink alot of water maybe 10 cups a day .#2 is more brothering when I really need to go it wont come out i'll be waithing and waiting and I wont go and I can fill in my bladder I have to go so I start to try to push it out so I can go and i'll be pushing it out for like 30 sec. Or more and i'll be holding my breath pushing so much when I start to go my body will fill like its vibrating and i'll be breathing really hard and my face will be red and sweating from holding my breath and pushing so long so I can urinate thats one of my main probiblams I don't know why it just happens like that somethimes.#3 now my last probiblam is that sometimes when I urinate i'll look in the toilate and it will look there's smoke floating in the water after I urinate that don't happen often but it kinda worrys me so if you can please reply and tell me whats the best suggestin you have for me that why I can take care of my probiblam i'll be grateful and i'll take care of that right away.

#4 I almost forgot to ask some people will say its bathroom shy but if I know somebody is behind me or on the other side of the door and I can hear them I can't go now is that just in my head or am I really bathroom shy I know it kinda sounds weird but I need advise for that it's not a real probiblam like my other questions I just need to know.

Sounds to me like you may be "bathroom shy" as your friend put it...Does this happen to you in the privacy of your own home as well as in public? If you're drinking 10 cups of water a day, you most definitely will be going to the bathroom a lot...I drink about 50-75fl oz of water a day, and after I get that first 25oz down, im peeing about every 15-20 mins, it gets annoying sometimes, but its ur body's way of cleaning itself out....And as for the smokey appearance after you use the bathroom, that may indicate a bladder infection, which can be treated with antibiotics if u see ur doc asap...Also, those 10 cups ur drinking are water right? Because if ur not drinking enough water, all of those things can happen also...Good luck and keep me updated!

You're welcome damien, im not too sure how you can be less shy about the bathroom...Sometimes thats just a part of us ya know...I mean if you really wanna get to the bottom of this you could either contact an urologist, or even a therapist, to help figure out why ur like this....Dont think theres anything wrong with being like that though...Its perfectly normal. Here are the symptoms of a bladder infection...

Itchiness and a burning sensation while urinating, along with the urge to urinate even when the bladder is empty are the most common bladder infection symptoms. Less common symptoms include fevers, unusual discharge from the urethra, dark, cloudy urine or evidence of blood in the urine.

And here are the ways to help prevent bladder infections(sometimes u can do this while u have a bladder infection and it will help to make it go away without meds)
stay hydrated: drink six to eight glasses of water a day.
Avoid tight, constricting clothes and synthetic underwear.
Reduce or eliminate caffeinated beverages.
I hope this helps, and keep me updated Laughing

It sounds more like you might have an enlarged prostate. It gives you all the symptons you listed. There are 2 ways I hear to fix that. One is surgery, the second is some kind of wonder pill that I hear about sometimes at night on an informercial.

Lawrence is correct that the symptoms you are describing are consistent with an enlarged prostate.

You should see a urological surgeon and have an ultrasound and kidney ivp.
