I am a eighteen year old college student and my family just found out that my 5 year old sister has alopecia. When I first heard it on december 8, 2004 it was like my heart feel apart. It hurt me so bad because breon love's hair so much and she always want's braids or weave like the adults in the family. The doctor's say that since she is so young ,that her hair will grow back. My mother had just put a relaxer into her hair and we thought that he relaxer had taken her hair out. My family kept telling my mother to go ahead and take her to the doctor. The entire time I wasd thinking that it looks like alopecia, I was praying that it was not, but it was. Breon is to young to understand what is going on, but me and my oldest sister are taking it the worst.
