Q: What to Switch to From the Patch

I have been on the patch for about 6 months now, and have gained lots of weight. I would like to switch to something else, I was thinking of going to seasonale, but reading some posts scared me. What is the consensus on the best pill? I'd like to reduce the number of periods I get.

I'm on the pill and have been since I was 15. I did take a break once and try depo (the shot), but got terrible migraines and cramps, so I switched back. The pill hasn't been too bad as far as weight gain. I weighed 100 lbs (5' 1") from 15 to about 20. And I am 22 now. Since I was 20 I have gained almost 30 lbs. However I think this is just because of the hormone change due at this age. I love the pill.

Switch From Patch to Seasonale??
My question is whether to go to seasonale. I'd like something to reduce the number of periods I get. I've been doing that with the patch and the pill, but have lately put on 20 pounds, while dieting and working out nonetheless. So I suspect it's the patch. From reading here though, it sounds like folks don't like seasonale. So what to switch to??
